Kids Programs

Martial Arts is recognized as a teaching and personal development tool.  Educators around the country recognize that with martial arts, children learn not only basic self-defense strategies and anti-bullying techniques, but how to: build

self-confidence, overcome peer pressure, manage anger, respect

for others,  and develop a positive attitude and behavior.

Fitness Kickboxing

RipTide MMA was founded in 2008 by John Juarez. After studying martial arts for the majority of his life, John felt

that it was time for the next phase in his martial arts journey—passing on the knowledge the accumulated throughout his respective career. He decided to use his knowledge and background to help children and adults achieve their martial arts and fitness goals.

John served as a US Marine for 12 years, competing at the highest level of marksmanship.  His extensive knowledge of MMA has came from various training opportunities from

some of the top world-renowned MMA gyms.    (Xtreme Couture & American top team).  

John had the opportunity to be the UFC heavy weight

world champion Randy Couture's training partner. 

John's goal is to help everyone reach their fitness and martial arts goals—from beginner level students interested in learning fundamental techniques and self-defense, to professional fighters seeking to perfect their discipline for competition

at the highest levels.

As one of the fastest growing sports in the world, just about everyone

has heard of mixed martial arts (AKA MMA) in one form or another.  Whether it's the UFC or other organizations around the country, people are coming to appreciate the level of athleticism, techniques, courage and training it takes to step into the cage.  Keeping in mind MMA is not only for the fighter but also for the person who wants to get into shape and build self confidence.

MMA Programs

Combines interval training workout with fundamentals of Muay Thai & kickboxing.  Effecient use of time burning 400-500 calories per

30 mins of exercise.  Provides valuable self-defense techniques while improving athletic abilities.  Total-body exercise includes cardiovascular & resistance training.
